MENTORSHIP

Learn the artistry. Understand the client. Experience the business.

Real-world mentorship for aspiring, emerging, and developing beauty professionals who want to experience what happens beyond the classroom.

Our Artist Mentorship & Immersion Programs provide an opportunity to step inside a working salon environment and learn directly through observation, education, hands-on practice, and professional development.

This isn't simply a day of shadowing.

It's an opportunity to understand the full production and flow of becoming a successful beauty professional—from the consultation and technical service to pricing, client experience, content creation, retention, time management, and the business happening behind the chair.

CHOOSE YOUR EXPERIENCE

ARTIST SHADOW SESSION

A glimpse behind the chair.

3 Hours

Designed for artists who want an introduction to real-world salon production before committing to a longer mentorship.

Spend three hours observing a working artist while gaining insight into:

• Client consultations
• Service preparation and execution
• Formulation and technical decision-making
• Time management
• Client communication
• Finishing and styling
• Photography and content
• Rebooking and retention
• The flow of a professional salon environment

Best for: Students, newly licensed professionals, and artists exploring mentorship.

This experience is primarily observational. Client services and daily salon production remain the priority during shadow sessions.

ARTIST IMMERSION DAY

Experience a full production day.

Up to 6 Hours |

A salon career can't truly be understood from watching one appointment.

The Artist Immersion Day gives developing professionals an opportunity to experience several hours of real salon production—from preparing for the day to managing different clients, services, consultations, transitions, unexpected situations, and the responsibilities happening between appointments.

Depending on the day's schedule, topics may include:

• Consultation and service planning
• Technical execution
• Color formulation
• Timing and productivity
• Client experience
• Pricing and service recommendations
• Client notes and documentation
• Retail and home-care recommendations
• Rebooking and retention
• Content creation
• Salon systems and operations
• Business and career conversations

Every production day is different—and that's part of the education.

ONE-WEEK ARTIST IMMERSION

Stop watching one appointment. Start seeing the pattern.

3 Mentorship Days | Up to 18 Hours

The One-Week Artist Immersion allows you to experience multiple production days and begin seeing how the pieces of a professional salon career work together.

Rather than judging the industry from one busy—or unexpectedly quiet—day, you'll observe different clients, services, challenges, decisions, and business situations throughout the week.

Your experience may include a combination of:

LIVE PRODUCTION

Observe consultations, technical services, client communication, time management, finishing, photography, rebooking, and daily workflow.

ARTIST DEVELOPMENT

Discuss technique, formulation, service selection, pricing, client retention, professional habits, and areas where you need additional development.

BEHIND THE BUSINESS

Gain exposure to the operational side of the beauty industry, including scheduling, marketing, service profitability, inventory, leadership, and building a sustainable clientele.

4-WEEK EMERGING ARTIST MENTORSHIP

From doing hair to becoming an artist.

1 Mentorship Day Per Week

Our signature four-week mentorship combines salon observation, technical development, hands-on learning, and professional education.

Instead of trying to absorb everything in one day, you'll have time to observe, practice, return with questions, apply what you've learned, and receive feedback as you develop.

WEEK ONE

THE ARTIST + THE CLIENT

Experience real salon production while studying consultations, client communication, service planning, time management, guest experience, and professional standards.

WEEK TWO

THE TECHNIQUE

Identify an area of technical development and dive deeper through focused education, demonstrations, mannequin work, model work, or guided practice when applicable.

Topics may include color formulation, dimensional color, lived-in color, blonding, balayage, foil placement, haircutting, finishing, extensions, consultation, or another approved area of study.

WEEK THREE

THE PROFESSIONAL

Learn what happens beyond the technical service.

Explore pricing, client retention, rebooking, retail, client notes, photography, content creation, scheduling, professional boundaries, productivity, and building a clientele.

WEEK FOUR

THE COMPLETE EXPERIENCE

Bring everything together.

Depending on the artist's level and licensing status, the final experience may include a model service, mannequin project, technical assessment, portfolio review, or simulated client experience.

We'll evaluate the process from:

Consultation → Service Plan → Pricing → Execution → Finishing → Photography → Rebooking → Client Documentation

The program concludes with feedback and recommendations for your next stage of development.

4-WEEK ARTIST INTENSIVE

More access. More practice. More development.

2 Mentorship Days Per Week

Designed for artists who want a more immersive experience.

The Artist Intensive expands the four-week curriculum to approximately two mentorship days each week, allowing additional time for production observation, technical development, model/mannequin practice, business education, and individualized feedback.

This program is ideal for:

• Recent beauty school graduates
• Newly licensed professionals
• Artists preparing to enter the salon environment
• Professionals returning to the industry
• Artists struggling to transition from technical education to real-world production
• Professionals considering future entrepreneurship

MORE THAN SHADOWING

Beauty school teaches you how to become licensed.

Experience teaches you how to become a professional.

Mentorship helps connect the two.

These programs were created to give emerging artists something that can be difficult to learn from a textbook: perspective.

You'll see the beautiful transformations—but you'll also see the consultations, timing decisions, corrections, pricing conversations, client relationships, marketing, cleanup, documentation, problem-solving, and business decisions required to build a career behind the chair.

Because becoming a successful artist isn't only about being talented with hair.

It's learning how to create an experience, manage your time, understand your numbers, build relationships, make professional decisions, and continually develop your craft.

WHO IS MENTORSHIP FOR?

Our mentorship experiences may be appropriate for:

• Current beauty school students

A deposit is required to reserve mentorship dates.

Long-term mentorship programs may offer approved payment arrangements. Full program policies, cancellation terms, model requirements, and participation agreements are provided prior to enrollment.
